It’s spinach season… That lovely dark green vegetable actually requires cool weather, so it is always one of the first vegetables to reach the market. (Though it’s in the 80s today… when we finally got warm, we went straight for summer!)
You’ve made the Magic Roux Cubes, or at least, you’re considering doing so – and now you’re wondering how to use them, and what you would use them for. I already showed you a very basic chicken gravy… now, here’s a white sauce.
It is spring. Finally… I’ve gone out for a walk with just a light shawl, we’ve had a couple of days of sun, I’m getting vegetables at Greenmarket, and the CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) had its Meet the Farmer Potluck.
